Interesting Descriptions

Ok, Sorors,
I have two questions for you:

Do you feel a little strange when non-sorors (or magazines, etc.) refer to us as "sorors?" I was reading a magazine and the article congratulated "the sorors of Alpha Kappa Alpha." That just struck me as so weird. Can it just be congratulations to "the members of Alpha Kappa Alpha?" Am I the only one that this strikes as a little weird?

And then there is the reference to us as "Alpha Kappa Alphas." I guess that I'll just have to be an "Alpha Kappa Alpha" but don't people realize that we don't refer to ourselves that way??? (as "an" Alpha Kappa Alpha) Maybe it's just me. Is it just me?
