"Missing" Alumni Sisters

I am trying to locate Alumni Sisters who have gone "missing" in the data base of Sigma Alpha. I have found about 100 "missing" Sisters through their collegiate chapters, alumni chapters, and university alumni associations, but I need your help.

There are two sisters who are listed, but we do not know the chapter. Could active Sisters look through their roll book and see if either of these names appears at your chapter? It would be a HUGE help to know which school they attended. The only clue I have is that they would have been members before 2002.

Daniele Hamm
Kristen Hodges

There is also a list on the Sigma Alpha Alumni page
http://www.sigmaalpha.org/alumni.htm
with other sisters who are missing. Could you check your chapter and see if someone you know is on the list?

Many, many thanks,
Shelley

PS - Please add Tara Destrampe to this list as well!
Thanks,
Shelley

The list is cluttered, is there a better way to organize that, and couldn't the president of each chapter be contact to go through the oath books?

Allie,

Sorry you find the list cluttered - it was the fastest way to get it posted. The sisters are listed by chapter in Greek letter order, so it should be pretty easy for people to find their chapter and see if anyone they know is listed as missing. I can put them in a table, but it's going to be a week or so before I can get to that...

As far as the oath books, I believe we've tried that before, with mixed results, but if any chapter presidents are reading this and would be willing to check for those two sister's names, that would be greatly appreciated!!

Thanks to everyone who is helping us find these sisters!

Beth

Here's a quick way to find a chapter on the list.

On your browser menu click Edit and then Find (on this page). Type your chapter's name. This will take you directly to the names listed for your chapter.

Does anyone have a Tara Destrampe in their roll books or remember her from you were active? She is listed a "lost" sister, and I am not sure from which school.

Thanks,
Shelley

Just wanted to bring this up to the top of the threads as we are still missing a number of sisters! Please take a look, check with your local alumni, etc. and see if you can help us find more of our "lost" sisters!

I can find two of them! Beth Emery and Betty Jo Nash (who actually posts here) were recently added and I will try to get in touch this week with them.

That's great! Thanks! They are so recently missing that we were pretty hopeful of a quick find.
