But Jamie, we still need to know what that thing is on your head

The biopic "Ray" about the life of legendary singer Ray Charles won four NAACP Image Awards, including an outstanding-actor trophy that added to its star Jamie Foxx's armful of honors.
"Ray" was nominated for a leading seven awards, including outstanding motion picture and outstanding actor in a motion picture for Foxx, who received the best-actor Oscar at last month's Academy Awards.
Foxx exchanged long embraces Saturday night with presenters Sidney Poitier and Diahann Carroll as he accepted his NAACP trophy.

yea, what is it - i thought this was the wrong time to be making such a personal statement - its almost ghetto to me that blue suit and all but guess that's his style which has nothing do with her performance.

If you're referring to the "thing" on the back of Jamie's head, I think he mentioned in an interview that I saw on TVOne that it's a fake tatoo for an upcoming movie, and it'll be gone at the completion of the movie.

You're right btb. The tattoo is for the upcoming film Jughead.

Thanks Gina! I didn't know the name of the movie (which is what I get for not listening to the whole interview!)
And why did I see "The Archies" (comics) singing "Sugar - oh, honey honey" when you said Jughead? (Did I just tell my age?)

Naw, I used to read Archie all the time. I used to wish I could have Veronica's house and father.

I did the same thing. I'm like "now, who was black on the Archies?"

Oops, my bad. The correct title of the film is Jarhead. Here is a brief synopsis from www.imdb.com:
Jarhead (the self-imposed moniker of the Marines) follows "Swoff" (Gyllenhaal), a third-generation enlistee, from a sobering stint in boot camp to active duty, sporting a sniper's rifle and a hundred-pound ruck on his back through Middle East deserts with no cover from intolerable heat or from Iraqi soldiers, always potentially just over the next horizon. Swoff and his fellow Marines sustain themselves with sardonic humanity and wicked comedy on blazing desert fields in a country they don't understand against an enemy they can't see for a cause they don't fully fathom... Foxx portrays Sergeant Sykes, a Marine lifer who heads up Swofford's scout/sniper platoon, while Sarsgaard is Swoff's friend and mentor, Troy, a die-hard member of STA-their elite Marine Unit.
