Brag About Your Kids (or pets if you want!)

We had parent-teacher conferences tonight and I can proudly say that I have two wonderful children! My daughter is in 5th grade and is getting straight A's. She is in a special spelling group with 2 other kids and they are doing the 8th grade spelling packets and she is still acing them. She tested at a 12th grade, 4th month reading level.... well on her way to those academic scholarships! She is also the teacher's pet.

My son is in 3rd grade. This is the first year that he has received grades on his report card and HE received all A's. His class is a 3rd/4th split and he has been doing the 4th grade math. He has more Accelerated Math objectives completed than any of the other kids. He tested at a 7th grade, 2nd month reading level. But, most of all... his citizenship grades were perfect! The last few years, he was on a behavior plan for at least part of each school year, but this year, he is behaving perfectly! Self-control has FINALLY kicked in with him!

I am a proud mom!
