Stuffing envelopes......

You know those ads that are in everything, asking for people to stuff envelopes at home! Well, I actually decided to get some info on it - b/c yes, it was prolly a catch - but I wanted to see anyway.

The letter seemed pretty nice, and explained how much money they save on office expenses, office upkeep, and keeping an actually building fx'ing. This explained what they could pay you b/c of that.

So, I'm curious. Has anyone done this? And I searched for this topic but my computer kept stalling - sorry if its a repeaty.

Work at Home Stuffing Envelopes: What are the Real Facts?
Have you seen the ads? Many state: Work at Home Stuffing Envelopes and Make Lots of Money! Are these ads for real? Is there any truth in them?

Let's cut to the chase, most of these ads are not worth 'the virtual paper' that they are 'printed' on. Here's how many of the pitches work:

* You request 'free' work at home stuffing envelopes information.

* You receive very basic information that directs you to pay a fee, usually a relatively modest sum of $20 - $40 dollars for the 'real' info.

* You pay the fee and in return you get back information about a work at home stuffing envelopes program that either

1. has standards that will make it impossible to make any substantive money.
2. has a reasonable standard but you won't ever get paid by the company.
3. some variation thereof.

We'll be so bold as to state: Work at Home Stuffing Envelopes legitimate opportunities don't really exist. Is it possible that there is one legitimate work at home stuffing envelopes opportunity out there? Anything is possible, but we have yet to see a work at home stuffing envelopes opportunity even remotely approaching respectability.
Finding Work at Home Jobs
Given the prevalence of these work at home stuffing envelopes pitches, how can you find real work at home jobs? More often than not, the best, legitimate work at home jobs are listed in carefully screened directories. These directories excel because they are able to screen out the illegitimate opportunities like work at home stuffing envelopes scams.

As we've mentioned before, the best directories meet our 'best practices' criteria:

* Exclude those jobs from employers who want 'payment.'

* Screen the jobs listed in their database and exclude surfer programs, MLMs and other unrealistic business offers.

* Make sure that the included listings are up-to-date.

* Have a simple and easy to understand user interface.

* Protect their member's privacy. You don't want to become a member of a directory and then be inundated with spam.

For these reasons, we recommend Homejobstop.com since they meet all of our 'best practices' criteria.
