Question Bush Tape Leak

Has anyone heard this? Will he still fight "war on drugs" or is that pretty much over now.

Are you talking about the tapes secretly recorded by the Texas politician?

I'd have to assume that he is... because those are the only tapes 'leaked' recently.

it almost makes visible the puppet strings...

On one tape, Bush explains that he told one prominent evangelical that he would not "kick gays, because I'm a sinner. How can I differentiate sin?"

I found nothing particularly damaging in the two things he was quoted on in the article.

Quote:
On one tape, Bush explains that he told one prominent evangelical that he would not "kick gays, because I'm a sinner. How can I differentiate sin?"

"I wouldn't answer the marijuana questions," he said, according to the Times. "You know why? Because I don't want some little kid doing what I tried."
Whether you like him or hate him, if what he said was really candid, the above two quotes are positives as far as his character is concerned.

I agree...I don't see how either of those things are terribly damaging.

Anyway, who tapes conversations they have with their friends?

So first you say Bush is a puppet. Then you imply it's Bush that's in charge and bullying Congress. Which is it? And I'm not sure how one man could ever bully Congress.
