Oh my gosh... this was my Saturday morning guilty pleasure when I was younger. I don't know that I'll buy them, but I'll definitely be renting them!

OK...I'm slightly upset. I did not know that this show even existed. I had ALL of the books as a kid(if that's even possible). I was a huge fan of the books. This was my Harry Potter BEFORE Harry Potter. I might have to chek this out.

THANKS!!!!!

I can not believe that is coming out on DVD. I had all those books, in fact they are all still at my moms house, and whenever I go over there I resist the urge to curl up on the couch and read one! I am so cheezy!

Wow, I read all 100+ of these books too. Back in Jr High I had most of them and we would all trade them around in class (along with my Red Hot Chili Peppers tape that I never got back....) I have no idea where they all are now.... my mom probably got rid of them in a garage sale when I wasn't looking.....

I remember I got my whole impression of how perfect it would be to live on the West Coast and be a blonde size 8 california girl from these books --- funny what shapes our childhood as I read these and Stephen King/Dean Koontz/John Saul every night --- Interesting combination!

"Sweet Valley High is a teen romance book series that centres on the lives and loves of the blonde 16 year-old twins Jessica and Elizabeth Wakefield. Jessica is the conniving, selfish twin and Elizabeth is the more responsible twin. They are both beautiful with size 8 figures. They live in Sweet Valley, California."

Maybe they had to update it to be a little more realistic. LOL.

But I did catch that too. I'm such a nerd.

OMG these books were my drug! You know here in the bookstores I have been to here in SC (i.e. Rock Hill, Greenville) and NC (i.e. Charlotte, Pineville) they don't sell these books anymore? It's all Buffy the Vampire Slayer, etc. I was actually disappointed and like do kids not read these books anymore? Maybe it was just a generational thing, but still disappointing to an extent. LOL

i can't wait to buy sweet valley high!! someone actually put a bunch of the books in my college's adopt a book table, and my roommates and i took them home, where they sat on a little shelf in the bathroom for fabulous reading material when needed.

if the BSC movies came out on dvd, my life would be complete.
