Sure, go to your local hardware store and pick up a can of black spraypaint. WAALAA! After a few minutes you got yourself a black paed.

Mine was black. I have no idea what happened to it tho.

I probably gave it to a little brother somewhere along the line and never got it back. In Fall of 98 I got a hold of one of the newer ones (not the newest one with the constitution in it) after a little bro had to quit the fraternity as an AM. Held onto it and thats the one I consider mine, as I write down the date and place in the front cover each time I see a rit, so I knwo how many I have seen.

Personally, I liek that version the best because its easiest to read. Betsy did a great job re-organizing the content in the newest one, but it is super hard to read. Using a sans serif font for text is the cardinal sin in the print/design world. Also, the margins are small, and the leading (space between lines) is small, and entire paragraphs are set in italics, which again, is very hard to read, so It makes the book very tiring on the eyes to try to read. (its called text heavy in the industry). I would have prefered they 'open it up' a bit by editing down some of the content and the overall look would have been much better.

Of course, its just unsolicited advice here.

As near as I can tell they were printed from around 1961 to 1970 with about 6 editions. They had b/w pictures of different fraternities' and sororities' badges and pledge pins. Very handy.

The 1988 was blackish (dark charcoal) and the 1992 was definitely black - and the word "Peadagogus" was in metallic purple - very pretty! But I don't think you mean those.

Unfortunately I don't have any extras. I did have an extra 1970 a few years ago but sent it to our chapter's co-founder before we initiated him so he could study up. (figure THAT one out!)

Just browse used bookstores online and ebay. You'll find one eventually, Raymond. Good luck!

They were printed w/a black cover until we switched to Associate Membership. Sadly (as Brother Earp has noted), with the new version they stopped printing photos of all the pins from other GLO's. It's pretty cool to see them all in one place.

Think there is one on ebay now.

The "Black" cover is in the early to Mid/late 1960s. This Was before New Associate was introduced.

OOPs just went to check and have a 1970 edition. Looks just like the 1964 edition.

While the newest one lists GLOs names, it doesnt have Pictures of Badges and Pledge Pins.

Hope We get back to that in the near future. Love those and Pictures of Zeta Houses.

Perhaps the seller calls it a "pledge manual". Did you spell Lambda correctly?

roz,

3961574366

Is the Number of LXA Pledge Manual. It is 1961 but shows no picture. @ 3 days left and is at $5.50

Ask seller color of cover. It list a lot of things but not Pictures of Badges.

Good luck.
