Hi ladies, my name is JeNelle Haugen from CSU Long Beach, CA. I am a one year Alumni. I am a team captain for the team, Hollywood Helpers #176 tp walk on May 7th at the Los Angeles Olympic Colliseum. I have to have a group of 20 participants to walk. So far, we have 15 members. Our team goal is $1000, of which 50% has been raised. My indivisual goal is $1000. I will be working to put together a fundraiser in Hollywood having a celebrity or two to appear.
I have been inspired to raise money and support womens health research for I personally have diagnosed with a type of cancer, not breast cancer.
This funraiser is official by E.I.F, the Entertainment Industry Foundation and Revlon. Last year alone from the money raised, we had 2000 less cases reported for breast cancer and 1000 cases less for ovarian cancer reported.
Every three minutes a new song comes on the radio and every three minutes a woman is disagnosed with having breast cancer! Not enough money or support can be made quick enough to save several lives at a time! Give me your hand ladies...hand in hand we'll win this race together!
