What kind of computer are you on?

We spend so much time with it - it is always approx 18" away from your face -- maybe more time with it than with loved ones and friends - what kind of computer are you using?

Mine is a lovely Dell Inspiron 300m

I am a little biased as I used to work at Dell.

PowerMac G3 beige desktop with a G4 processor, 768MB, internal RAID level 1 40 MB hard drive (2 20MB 7200rpm Seagate Baracudas,) internal 40MB 7200rpm for backup, DVD-ROM/CD-RW drive, FireWire/USB PCI card.

I use two 19" monitors, because one really isn't enough.

This 1998 machine is faster than the new Mac mini, so I'll hold on to it for a few more years.

Dell Inspiron XPS notebook at school, work, and home...

The cover is cool... but I rarely have it on - got to look professional

I've got a G4 running Panther at work.

I've got a custom built PC at home. I had a Dell 480T for a long time.

I have the Dell Latitude D600 that I do most of my work on:

But I've also got a Dell Optiplex GX240 that I use to keep open running programs, test environments, shared drives & folders, etc.

At home I just use my D600 but I have a desktop there as well. Its a hand-me-down from a friend & I hardly ever use it. All I remember about it is that its a Hewlett Packard.

IBM Thinkpad R40. That's my work computer; I liked it so much that I got one for home use as well.

I'm always afraid that I'll drive all the way to work, get to my desk, and pull out my computer, only to find I've brought my home laptop instead of my work laptop
