Let's talk about those cute letter shirts with the bubble letters--I need one but can't figure out where to get one! (You know what I'm talking about...the ones where the letters have little nubs at the corners.) I tried making a pattern, but, well, needless to say, that didn't go very well. Of course if I ever find a place to get one I'll need to have "alum" embroidered under the letters...

you know what I am a sucker for....cute social and rush shirt. I wore my letters a lot in college and passed most of them down at senior sendoff. I could never part with my cute tee shirts. Some of the are getting to the "need to be laid to rest" side, but I still hang on to them. I wish I could get a tee shirt quilt made, but I don't think I could even bare to have them cut up! I have even bought some really cute DZ shirts from other chapters on ebay. It make me wish I had pushed for us to get shirts for everything! Anyone got any extra bid day shirts laying around?

Thanks! I'd really appreciate that. You, too, DZGirl--if it's a really nice shirt, I'd be willing to pay a little more for it.
I'm a sucker for cute t-shirts as well! It's so sad...I bought almost every t-shirt for every event we did when I was active, and I'm still wearing them around to this day because I like them so much. (Well, that, and because DZ t-shirts pretty much comprise my entire t-shirt collection.) Sometimes you can find cute ones on e-Bay.

I'm not really a fan of the bubble letters...I like the regular ones better...I have so many pairs of letters, at least that's how I feel. My boyfriend likes to tease me that I wouldn't have anything to wear if I didn't have Winthrop or DZ shirts.
I don't know how I'm going to quit wearing them when I go to grad school. Do I need to get "alum" under them to wear them after graduation? I don't think I've seen anyone wearing them like that (even girls I know that have graduated)

none of my letter shirts say alum...other an a homecoming shirt or two. I can hardly remember wearing any thing other than tee-shirt, sweatshirts, and letters during school (I was a PE and health education major, so I hard to basically dress down a lot). Besides, Monday was always letter day!

letters
I agree with the wardrobe issue. I have enough DZ, college and dance team appareal to wear for 3 weeks without washing! It's all worth it though. I feel if I wear letters for more than one day at a time people look at me like I am obsessive or something. Hope everyone has a great weekend. I have a test tomorrow (yeah I was crazy enough to take a Sat. class) Go Eagles (you have to root for the underdog)

Ugh...I took a Saturday class last spring and it wouldn't have been so bad if it hadn't been such a boring class! (It was Russian History, by the way.) Actually, I really liked that it was every other weekend, so I could go home one weekend if I wanted to.
