Happy Dance!!!

I just wanted to share my joy that my brother got home EARLY this morning from the Middle East!! It was only a 6 week deployment (not to Iraq), but I'm still excited that he's home! Yeah!!!

Oh that is awesome he is home! What great news!

On a side note: My best friend and AOII sister, her husband just left for Kuwait and then Iraq. He is in the Army Reserves out of Mississippi. They also just got married this past June 2004 and since July 2004 he has been training in Hattiesburg, MS and in California.

Sarah, I'm so thrilled to hear your news!!!

K, here's hoping that he'll be home safe and sound as soon as possible (and that wish goes out to everyone working so hard to ensure freedom throughout our planet.)

Okay, so I have to share this because I at least thought it was kinda funny! So I went over to my parents' house for dinner to night (can't pass up free food - and I got to see my brother for a little bit before he headed back to sleep!). Anyway, on the kitchen table was a can of Mountain Dew - but the writing in Arabic and it was a pull top!

I guess it was more funny that he brought it home and that you could tell that it was Mountain Dew without being able to actually read the can than anything, but you have to put up with quirkiness anyway! LOL

Sarah

P.S. K - your friend and her husband are in my prayers!
