Here lies my youth...
At 12:09 AM EST on January 3rd (11:09 PM EST January 2, where I'm at), I take the headlong plunge into middle age by reaching the ripe old age of 40.

Life begins at 40, or so they say... here lies my youth!

Nah. That's what they used to say until all of us Baby Boomers started turning 40. (Like we couldn't trust anyone over 30, until we reached that milestone).

Hey, I'm past 50 and still don't feel real middle aged. Usually.
