Fall '04 alcohol/drug deaths up to 10

I just updated the list at the top of this page with the 10th known death this school year from alcohol, or a combo of alcohol and drugs.

If we had the time and ability, I'm sure we could find hundreds of alcohol/drug related among non-GLO college students. I read somewhere that about 700 students per year die.

I wish we could find stats from earlier years, to see if the trend is up or down?

Every day on College Humor.com pictures of passed out guys are posted, often showing their bodies covered with Sharpee grafitti. The next step after passing out is death.

Drug and alcohol related deaths is different from caused specifically by alcohol . . or even drugs. The statistics i gave you before from the Natiuonal Institute of Health covered about a decade and was accurate. ITs a handful of people in that age bracket a year. 2004 actually seemed a little high.
