Love for the ADPis

I'm not an ADPi but some of your sisters have been influential in my life from adpiucf writing a rec for me in Fall 2003 rush to honeychile who is so sweet and nice. However, this is a bit more personal than the usual.

I've known a couple of the sisters from the PSU chapter over the years and I counted one as a friend (she graduated though). Right now, there is an ADPi who is a coworker of mine. This May, I became really sick and I wasn't quite recovered when I came back late June. Then, July 4th, I lost my unlce that I had been close to.

Your sister, when she didn't have to, helped me through dealing with all of it. She was someone I could talk to with my problems and she was a rock through it all. Truly and honestly, I believe that if she hadn't been around, things would have been worse than they were. She is truly a credit to your sorority.

*sniffle*

I am SO HAPPY that a sister was able to help you through the bad times!! Sometimes, it's not our biological family who's there for us, it's the family of friends we've made along the way. How blessed that sister must be, to have you as a friend, and to have a spirit of compassion!

Of course, we love you, too!

I couldn't agree with Honey more!

blueGBI, I am so glad that one of our sisters was able to be such a system of support for you during the tough times, and I am sure that she is just as supportive and caring in the good times, as well.

Thanks for sharing this with us!

Violets to that special sister and all the others who live out the ADPi creed. I am blessed to know that my sisters, all over, are compassionate and caring, to all that need it!
