WOOHOO FOR SOUTH TEXAS SNOW!!!!!!!
My dad was really bummed when he heard he missed snow in north texas by 3 days.. and he sang "I'm Dreaming of a White Christmas" all evening on the 23rd.
Surprisingly, at around 10 am we started getting ice pellets... then we heard on the news that we'd be getting snow. We didn't think it would be much.. maybe a flurry or two.... but we got TWELVE INCHES on Christmas eve!!!! It was sooooooo awesome. A lot of people didn't come to our annual christmas party (understandably because the roads were pretty scary) but we had a good time with those that did show up. We made a HUGE snowman (finished it at 3 AM ... about the time it stopped snowing @ my house

) and put a big cowboy hat on it!
My dad was so excited! (Of course we all were!) It was the first time in about 30 years that my hometown had any kind of snow. It was sooooooo gorgeous!!! Our house, and entire lawn was filled with snow. We couldn't even see the grass.
Christmas day as we drove to my aunt's house, just about every house had a snowman... it was the cutest thing ever.... and def. the best Christmas!
