It's a Pi Phi legacy for Jennifer and Ben!

Jen and Ben welcome daughter, Violet!

(And how come no one told me that Alias was cancelled last week?)

My cousin has a beagle named Violet. Hee hee.

Seriously, this isn't bad...when I saw the news headline that said they had given her a "colorful" name I was scared. "Green Affleck?"

She did, and it was the cutest thing ever because you could really tell she didn't mean to!

My Lhasa Apso's name is Violet!

It would have been my first name of choice for my first-born daughter, but God blessed me with the cutest puppy in the world first

violet (white ones) are also our fraternity flower. I am glad for them!

I saw her on Jay. It was really funny, because it just really slipped out. As for Alias, I have never watched it but it seemed to be a huge show. I too was surprised to hear it cancelled....although killing Michael Vartan's character should have been a clue.

Maybe when she gets older she can put Charlie Brown on her list of people not to invite to her Halloween party.

Seriously, the first thing I think of with the name Violet is Peanuts. The second is the BBC show "Keeping Up Appearances." ("You remember m' sister Violet -- the one with a swimming pool and room for a pony?") I don't think I've ever actually known anyone by the name.

It's better than Apple, though.

I had thought that maybe they had named the baby after the characted she played in Coyote Ugly until I remembered that that was Piper Perabo, not Jennifer Garner!

I do like the name, though.

I think at the beginning of the season it was just "known" that this is the last season....of course I have watched it this season....but I still do like this show very much

Yay for them

Wasn't it revealed like a few months ago that they were going to name their daughter Violet?

I also got scared when I read that they were giving her a "colorful" name....the first thing I thought of was RAINBOW lol. But I think Violet is a cute name!!
