Question Kinda sick, but important....

Disclaimer, dont read if you are easily sickened...

One of my chick friends (we'll call her Michelle) hooked up the other night with one of my alumni brothers (hes a recent grad whom we'll call Joseph). She is a close friend and told me that after they had sex (it was protected) he took off the condom and he was dripping blood (not a lot, but some, and it was coming from the urethra) from the tip of his penis. He was kinda freaked out about it (as I would have been). Michelle told me about it and I told her that it wasnt normal.

I dont wanna get up in his personal medical business, hell, it isnt my business that they hooked up, but I am worried about him and it could be anything, but it could be something serious. Id like to encourage him to get it looked at, but how do I do it without being up in his business? Do I have her do it? What would ya'll suggest.

What part of "Go see a doctor!" does he not understand.

Okay, if he won't see a Dr., I would call one of those toll-free STD phone lines and explain the situation. Chances are, the nurse on the other end of the phone line will be able to explain what possibilities it could be, from the best to worst case scenario.

But yeah, he needs to have medical attention, STAT!

You need to tell Michelle to INSIST to Joseph that he sees a doctor.

It's true, it's not "your" business, and you don't want to jeopardize your friendship with him, but you still want to make sure he's okay. So definitely the onus is on Michelle to insist that he see a doc.

If the man had any brains he would run not walk to the doctor... jeez man he should know that's just not right... personally if I saw my little man dripping the vino I'd flip-out and head straight to the hospital; after all I love the little guy

Yes he should definitely go see a physician....

it could be something as simple as a kidney stone passing.

My oldest son (15.5) came to mr sageofages and me the other night and said "I think something is wrong!" He pulled down his jeans and the front of his bvd's were blood red! We are talking if he had been our daughter I would have thought it was a period starting!

Needless to say we were at the dr's the next morning. Apparently, no uti, no injury, etc. Dr says possibly a kidney stone (as he did have some pain in his back pretty bad about two days before) was passing and it can be that dramatic.

UTI, Kidney stone, burst blood vessel because of exersion (sex can be strenous if done properly could be any one of the possibilities.

Good luck to your friend.

Thumbs up

Andy, have a sit down with him asap.

While it may not be serious, it very well might be.

He is a Brother and a Friend. Is He stupid? This is something that needs to be looked into. Kidney Stone, BS, while I never had one, My Best Friend has and it hurts like hell.

Now, my question?

Normaly one does not see blood dripping from Penial area. If it is, a major Problem!

Beat feet to get with him, be a Brother and Friend. Or, carry him to the hole in the earth. Never know do we?

Damn . . you mean we didn't do it right when sex doesn't end with a bloody dick?

Like men don't have enough performance anxiety without having to try and win the red badge of excellence everytime we hit it.

Blood dripping from my dick. Hmm, I think maybe this is getting a little blown out of proportions. I'm not a doctor but if blood is coming out of the urethra, it will come out whether or not your having sex. I haven't heard of (and please all medical scholars teach me if I'm wrong) a special blood vessel connected to the vas deferens from health class. My opinion, he had an allergic reaction or some bad chaffing from the latex condom and is probably healed by now.

Peeing blood, yea run to the fookin hospital, last I heard the penis needs blood to function properly.

If you want another opinion to your questions, I'd say don't get involved. I'm sure any guy would agree this was an embarassing intimate experience that he would soon like to forget. If he isn't wise enough to go to a doctor, then let it be. HOWEVER, as a red cross instructor and big advocate of avoiding diseases, I'd suggest your friend get a blood test immediately in case there was any contact. Better safe than, well just be safe ok?

Re: Kinda sick, but important....

Dude, it is your business - he banged your friend.

PS, tell him to get the drip looked asap. Bloody wang = not good. Maybe they needed some lube or something?
