Lawrence Otis Graham--Member of the Club

I'm sure most of you have heard of Mr. Graham. (For those of you who have not, he is a corporate lawyer who has written several books including: Our Kind of People, Member of the Club, The Best Companies for Minorities, and Proversity: Getting Past Face Value and Finding the Soul of People -A Manager's Journey ) Anyway, I was at home looking at an old video tape I had taped of him on the Oprah show (when I used to watch) He was discussing his then new book Member of the Club. He had mentinoned during the show that a movie was going to be made about his experience at the country club and that it was to star Denzel Washington. Did that movie ever come out and if so what was the name of it ?

I don't think so, unless it went straight to DVD. Seems I would have remembered that, but so many things can happen to waylay a movie, especially...
