New Years Resolutions
I figure that given that we're getting close to the end of 2004, it's just about that time to make New Years resolutions.
So I wonder....do people still make resolutions and do they actually keep them?
As for me, the only thing I really want to set as a resolution is to actually take the advice that's given to me. Cause I can't begin to go over all of the advice I should have taken that I didn't, that I've since regretted ignoring.
What are your resolutions for 2005?

My resolution is going to be to get in shape. I don't want to lose a ton of weight but I'd like to get some muscle and start going to the gym more regularly. I'm not doing it until after the holidays because I know it can't eat right while my mom is pumping out the cookies.

Since I've dropped 10 + lbs in the past 3 months and I keep losing inches, I guess I just want to continue this trend. My other new year's resolution is to stop being a wimp about running and do it more.

I have a few:
1) To write more
2) To be more confident
3) To be nicer to myself
4) To be more bold
5) To try one new thing once a month
6) Apply to grad school....FINALLY!

To stop using so much profanity. I was pretty good about it for a while but once I moved into the sorority house, my language seems to have taken a turn for the worse. I need to stop this bad habit.

In about 1968, I resolved to give up making resolutions. I've kept that one ever since.

You've inspired me. My 2005 New Years Resolution is to give up making resolutions. I think that I can keep this one. Maybe.

I don't really do the whole resolution thing, but I'll resolve to at least three servings of fruit and three servings of vegetables a day. That shouldn't be too hard and it's specific enough to do.

For the past three years I've only made one resolution and one resolution only. It's not to quit smoking, it's not to cut down on profanity, no diets...
My resolution is to wake up happy every morning.
I can have the shittiest of shitty days, but at least one good thing happened to me every day -- at least I woke up happy.

My resolution is to be more open to trying new things and taking more risks... Gotta take a chance because otherwise you'll spend the rest of your life thinking about all of the "what if's".

Mine is to lose weight. A lot of it. I will be at the gym 4 or 5 days a week and be hard on my diet.

I'm sure I'll set goals for the New Year later but right now I've decided that I need to work on my correspondence a bit more. I didn't realize how out of touch I'd gotten wth some people until I was working on my Christmas cards.
