In this thread, Sister Havana and blueGBI talk smack about other Big Ten teams

Purdue = OVERRATED!

Any day IU wins and Purdue loses is a great day in my book!

Ohio State, what happened? I thought yall were a Top 25, no Top 10 football team, now you're 5-3, 2-3 Big Ten. We all expected PSU to suck, not you!

How do you keep an Illinois football player out of your driveway?

Put up a goalpost.

Why couldn't Jon Beutjer answer his phone?

He couldn't find the receiver.

A CHEMICAL, BIOLOGICAL, AND NUCLEAR SURVEY TEAM was dispatched to the University of Illinois to investigate a mysterious white powder discovered in Memorial Stadium during football practice.

The alert was called off when the mystery substance was identified as the goal line.

Practice was allowed to resume after authorities determined that it was highly unlikely that any of the players would ever encounter the substance again.

Thank you, I'll be here all week.

Hey, why aren't you kids making fun of Iowa?

Oh, that's right. We're better than you.

I will be able to the weekend before Thanksgiving, when the Wisconsin Ex-Iowa Assistant Coaches (formerly "Beavers" or something) have to take the long walk into Kinnick (aka "Mel Kiper's top-5 home field advantage, bitches") . . . care to wager?

Not that I'm a betting man, but it will be a superlative upset (and keep a big10 team out of the big BCS games . . . every silver lining has a cloud)

Now you are 9-1. Who gave you that lost? Oh yeah, the unranked Spartans. It was a good day to be a Spartan after the past two weeks of being beaten in the last 10 minutes or less in the game. It was definitely a moral booster for MSU.

Once again, Penn State proves that it is not the worst team in the Big 10 by beating everyone's favorite punching bag, Indiana!

Inidana?
Illinois?

Thank goodness all of those "I" states are back East!

I always think of it like this:

UI=Iowa
IU=Indiana
U of I=Illinois

And who's on a winning streak? That would be UI of course!

As I was yelling "RUN, RUN!" at the tv when they had their 55 yard TD, my kids came into my room and said "Momma? Why are you watching State? Why are you ROOTING for State?" I said "They're helping Michigan!"

Thanks Michigan State! We love you (after Michigan, of course)!

Dee

I can smell the roses!

Bring on Ohio State!
