I think you should do some community service projects on your own, you don't need to be an "auxiliary" to do that. I can appreciate the need to belong and of course DST is agreat organization to admire, but be you first. Delta Sigma Theta doesn't need any more cookie-cutter women coming in to the organization. Go out there and be a part of helping the community in areas you enjoy and are good at, that way you will particiapte in for life, regardless or not if you beceome a Delta.
These are the kinds of women you should strive to be, one that didn't wait to join something to start doing something. Let your heart guide you...
