QUESTION...???

Sisterfriends:

I'm just sitting here watching the game between the Lakers and 76ers and DESTINY'S CHILD just gave a performance (they sang two songs). Tell me, is it me or did I hear an excessive amount of "booing" and jeers when they were finished? I mean, if that WASN'T the case----OKAY and all that jazz!! But if that WAS the case----I CERTAINLY understand (I'm not a big fan of this group). Every since the drama that went on that caused two of the original four members to leave, I've just been kinda been out of it with this group (justified or not). Help me Sisterfriends.

By the way, who do YOU want to win this championship. I like BOTH teams, but my gut is telling me the Lakers are going to win. I DO know ONE thing, if the 76ers are going to win THIS particular game, they had better get a move on it.

I do have a question though, what was up with Beyonce's hair and I didn't know Kelly was singing lead on Bootylicious.

I also have a second question. When are they coming out with a slow song or are upbeat songs all they can do?

I think that the crowd was booing the lakers, because they were coming back out. They are coming out with a slow song called "Emotions", it is a remake. I like the old Destiny's Child, and I like the new Destiny's Child.

I WANT THE 76SIXERS TO WIN THE CHAMPIONSHIP.
Although they didn't play that well tonight.

I can NEVER understand artists who sing "strange lyrics" like Bootylicious and at the end give thanks to God. God didn't tell you to sing no song called Bootylicious!!!!!

I watched the game as well. Yes indeed DESTINY'S CHILD got booed off the stage!!

But did you see what they were wearing? Tina Knowles should have been shot for what them girls had on. It's already known that the Sixers fans hate the Lakers. Sixers were loosing by more than 10 at the half anyways so the fans were mad about that.

But back to DC Kelly and Michelle outfits were alright. But when it came to Beyonce....WHEW!! Her weave was not intact. It was all frizzy. Then her outfit was a mix between Lakers girls previous outfits and something else that wasn't happening. Her little visor was blingin', sparklin' on point but they could have been more festive and put on some basketball shoes to make the mood better like the latest Iverson's, Kobe's or Shaq's.

Also the backup dancers were Lakers girls!!!! C'mon now!! They got booed partially for that.

Lastly they should have just done "Survivor" and called it a night. That's all the crowd needed. When they lip-synced "Bootylicious" that was enough. I know that an artist lip-syncs when they want to do their dance moves more than singing. But tonight was not the night.

Actually I was anxiously waiting for Russ Parr and Olivia Fox to make comments on this. I can't wait to see what they've said because I KNOW that it's going to be funny.

I didn't want to say anything, but yes Beyonce's hair was S.C.R.E.A.M.I.N.G for a conditioner. Something tells me that her weave is synthetic. Her mother knows better than that. My question is why does she need weave in the first place? What is she doing?

Yes, Kelly is the lead singer for that BOOTYLICIOUS song, but don't you think it's about time? And even with that, Miss. Beyonce' STILL has to lead a couple of courses. Why can't she just sing backup only for a few of the songs? It appears that she HAS TO have the spotlight. From what I've heard, the others can sing pretty good too. But of course most people wouldn't know that because you know who has lead almost all of their songs.

I'm sorry, Sisterfriends. I'm really not hating on this group, but there is SOMETHING wrong with that picture.

What do you guys think that the overall public opinion is about this group?

I hate to say it, but I was laughing sooo hard when the group came out in mostly Laker gear at the Sixer's stadium...I knew they would get booed! Beyonce is quite a character, to me it seems like she MUST be the center of attention! She needs to get over herself.

Not hating, just stating the obvious.

Well I actually feel sorry for them. But what I don't get is my boyfriend said the crowd cheered or at least didn't boo after Survivor, then why would they boo after 'Bootylicious'? My boyfriend taped the game and since I feel asleep on it last night, I'm going to watch it again tonight and judge for myself. From what I've heard it doesn't sound to me like they were booing because of the Lakers outfit. Maybe they hated 'Bootylicious'. After all it's not like most people in the crowd are teeny-boppers.

I didn't see the DC performance last night but I must say that I like Destiny's Child and I they all have beautiful voices.

People always talk about Beyonce being the only person singing the lead on songs, well she IS the lead singer. Just as Dianna Ross sang EVERY song for the Supremes, Beyonce is doing the same. And what can we expect, her daddy is the manager.

As far as Beyonce's hair, it is a HOT MESS! She gets more blonde everyday. And she and her mother needs to realize that her BOOTY is too BOOTYLICIOUS for some of the clothes she wears.

I think that was Beyonce's sister Solange (sp?). I almost hit the floor when I saw that.

The entire incident was unbelievable.
