Pistons/Pacers Game

Sorry, I posted in the wrong forum. That was insane. I could not believe what I was seeing. It was bizarre.

Motown melee
Pacers get into ugly brawl with Detroit fans at end of win

AUBURN HILLS, Mich. (AP) -- Fists were flying. So were cups, plastic bottles and even a chair in one of the ugliest NBA brawls ever -- and Indiana's Ron Artest was right in the middle of it.

Artest and Stephen Jackson charged into the stands and fought with fans in the final minute of their game against the Detroit Pistons on Friday night, and the brawl forced an early end to the Pacers' 97-82 win.

Officials stopped the game with 45.9 seconds remaining after pushing and shoving between the teams spilled into the stands once fans got involved by throwing things at the players near the scorer's table.

O'Neal shouldn't be suspended. The fatso was coming toward him on court. The fatso shouldn't even be on the court. Remember Monica Seles.

This is probably one of the most disgusting displays that I have ever seen in sports. I wouldn't be surprised if there are arrests and lawsuits filed as a result. I am relieved that no one was seriously injured.

I also thought of Monica Seles and Nancy Kerrigan when I first heard that the fans threw debris. I still don't think that the players should have gone into the stands. They should have had security remove the fan who threw the cup. I must have seen this tape on the news five or six times, and each time I was shocked.
