From the promos last night, the shwo begins in January. It seems like one of the 3 panelists will be Teena Marie.

Get ready to watch 13 aspiring performers head out coast-to-coast with Grammy Award-winning artist Missy Elliott on one of her concert tours, where some of these select male and female vocalists will travel, live together on the tour bus and compete against each other for $100,000 and the opportunity to become music's next big sensation, on the new dramality series THE ROAD TO STARDOM WITH MISSY ELLIOTT.

While dealing with the ups-and-downs of life on the road, this diverse group of participants will be challenged in a variety of ways and, with Missy's guidance, be exposed to top music industry insiders, all under 24-hour-a-day surveillance of cameras that chronicle every move.

Missy and a panel of music industry judges, including Teena Marie, Dallas Austin and Mona Scott, will eliminate one performer each episode until only one is left standing to claim the $100,000 prize. Missy will then help launch a career by signing the winner to her record label and releasing the winner's first single.

My leasing manager's brother, Matthew Buckner will be one of the contestant's on the show. I was shock when he told me that, because he's so "redneckis". He says his brother and he are like night and day. His brother is an R&B singer. The show has already wrapped, but ofcourse he doesn't know how far his brother got in the show. So be looking for Matthew Buckner. I hope his brother can really sing.
