It was SRO in the owner's suite at Reliant Stadium Sunday afternoon, where attention was divided between the Texans and the TV showing the Astros' action at Minute Maid Park. At halftime, all eyes were on the Astros.
Janice and Bob McNair filled their luxury aerie with a spirited mix that included members of the national board of Sigma Chi (Bob's fraternity) and honchos from the McNair Educational Foundation based in Forest City, N.C.
Fellow Sigma Chi Chuck Watson, Anne and Charles Duncan, James Baker III, Antje and Harry Gee, and Joanie and Don Haley were among the guests.
Next door in the partners' suite, Lucinda and Javier Loya entertained Henry and Mary Alice Cisneros, whose son-in-law Brad Badger was on the field for the Oakland Raiders.
Sunday was Hispanic Heritage Day at Reliant Stadium, with on-field recognition given to the Texans' Hispanic advisory board including Carlos Lara, Iris Correa, Richard Torres, Cindy Garza, Gilbert Chavez and Brenda Chavez.
