Lunar Eclispse going on now....
anyone catching it? it is very cool. the earth is moving in between the sun and the moon causing a shadow (aka eclipse). then the moon will turn red due to dust in the earth's atmosphere and the occurrance of sunrise and sunset happening at the same time cause the sun is blocked. a little confusing but very neat stuff. it will be going on until 11:45 tonight.

This is an interesting time of year. When the Sun moves into Scorpio, things always get a little spooky...

Saw the beginning of the eclipse the other night, then it got too cloudy. Bummer.

Likewise. I got to see the progression toward totality, then just as the moon entered totality... in rolled the clouds.
It was still quite a show.

I was lucky to see it because it was super cloudy yesterday. But it was cool to look at after the Halloween party we had for our church kids.

I missed it. I saw the moon turn red a few months ago.
