I missed out.
I went to a school with no Greek life as a freshman, then attended community college one semester and took the following one off. When I started at my university I was already 20, and I pledged a sorority to meet people, but I didn't like it for a lot of reasons (I lived too far away from campus, I was older than most of the sisters I met, and they did some pretty stupid, obnoxious semi-hazing type things, and I made a really bad choice when I picked a big sister.) I will not mention the name of the sorority since I had a bad experience with them.
Now I'm a 22 year old senior in my second to final semester and I really wish I had the opportunity to join Alpha Phi at my university. I feel so bad about it. Is there any hope for my situation? I guess my chance has passed.
Some background: my mom was in AEPhi at Queens College, and my big sis was in AXO at MIT a couple years ago.
