Arrest: Fight Related to Rape Allagations
A member of a fraternity at Baker University in Kansas was arrested as a result of a fight with a member of another fraternity. Apparently, according to the local city newspaper, the fight was sparked by references to rape allegations (the rape allegations are still under investgation).

Yeah, it is. But, it's not uncommon.

On the list of top reasons for insurance claims against fraternities (which I've alluded to in other parts of this forum), "fights" was about number four on the list as I recall.

This should never make the news. Guys fighting. I'm sorry, but that's just not a big deal. It's college guys; there's going to be a certain amount of roughhouse and foolishness. I can remember a whole lot worse than this when I was in school and no one paid much attention to it. There seems to be a great deal more officiousness and pretention on the part of the cops now.

Stuff like this makes news in small newspapers a lot. Even in larger papers it might make the "Police Blotter" section.

But, it happened. I watched 3 channels of KC finest TV Media and ALL Stories were different! DAH!

But as usual, no matter what, if it is Greek or related to, it gets press. Period.

Oh, Baker is a Small Religious Affiliated College South Of Kansas City and Lawerence, Ks, Home of U. Ks.
