It looks promising.
Based on the bios I was prepared to hate Travis, Lea, and Dolly. But in last night's episode I really liked the two guys and Dolly was kind of quiet.
Eliza reminds me of some people I know at IU.

I'm sure it's been posted somewhere already, but Eliza is an Alpha Phi from the Alpha chapter at Syracuse.
I haven't watched Survivor for quite a while until now, but last night's episode was pretty good. It was nice to see the women kick some butt.

Yeah - I was happy to see that too especially after the tribe scene!

Totally into this season now! Though I'm not sure what the "big twist" was. They have 18 people, 9 and 9, so that's two more than they used to. They have one guy with an artificial leg and a woman with an artificial knee. They did men vs. women. All of that is really interesting and cool, but what part of it was the big twist?
I was prepared to hate Twila and Scout, but I thought Scout seemed pretty sweet and hardworking, not nutty but maybe just a touch eccentric. Twila would kick my ass, and will probably be very strong against the guys! I really like the teacher guy.
Kind of annoyed at the "sorority girls" comment-- it's more of a "young social clubbing girls" situation-- but most of the younger girls weren't doing squat with the shelter.

When are these people going to learn that if you think you hold the power and are the swing vote, that you might actually be going home yourself? Geez!
Those boys cannot balance! I noticed the guy that had such a hard time on the balance beam last week was the last one in line - number one. I felt bad for them!

While watching my tape of last night's episode, I suspected either Eliza or Scout to be the two names up for voting out (Eliza because the older women are aggrivated by her, and Scout for not being able to get her team to win the immunity task - not realizing there was another piece still out in the water)....I was shocked that they were able to turn the tables and vote out Dolly so easily.
Next week will be an interesting episode to watch!

They are relying on Scout for her work around camp.

There goes my eye candy darn it!
Is it just me, or is this season just not as exciting? I wish they would quit picking on Rory! I kind of like him!

When JP went home last week, I was so bummed, and now with Brady gone, things are just going downhill so fast. Brady was dead on last night when he mentioned that the guys began playing the individual game WAY too early, and it's hurting their chances to make it to the end.
I don't really have any favorites any more.....this season, which at first looked pretty good, has gotten pretty bad.

I don't know if it's the cast or just the fact that it's the 9th friggin' season of Survivor, but this season's just bleh.
I guess nothing really compares to the All Stars.

Being a military retiree, y'all know I like Sarge -- well, that was at first...he is sort getting on my nerves now...not sure which of the guys I like the best...
I like Twila alot but women her age never get very far on this show --with the possible exception of Cathy from several seasons ago who got into the top 4 if I recall correctly....
