I think it is an excellent alternative to Valentine's Day, because it does not solely focus on romantic relationships.

On the website, you will notice that one of the goals of the day is to rejuvenate ALL of our relationships! (Love for the Creator, love for self, love for the family, love for the community, and love for the Black race.)
Since it is so much more inclusive, I think that celebrating Black Love Day is an healthy alternative to celebrating Valintines Day.

What does everyone think?

I agree! Shoot, in my opinion, celebrating toothpaste is a healthy alternative to V-day!
