I find Joaquin Phoenix terrifying.

I saw this movie last night and it was AMAZING. One of the most emotional and well acted/directed movies I have seen in a long time. Brings home the amazing job firefighters do for us everyday, and the incredible bond they share. Jacinda Barrett was wonderful, her scene near the end broke my heart. I bawled through half the movie.

This movie is nothing like backdraft.

SideNote: I work for a Workers Comp firm in Baltimore, so I deal with the Police and Fire Fighters every day, and it just really brought home to me what some of those accident claim forms really mean.

It was entertaining.

IT was also a feel good movie for firemen lol.

It definitely was! My fireman friend saw it Friday and could not stop bugging us to go see it. (He was paged at the end of the movie for a fire at an apt. complex)

He wanted us to see the movie, because he said it is exactly like real life.

We never had a chance...my sorority, his fraternity had stuff to do all weekend long!

After seeing Ladder 49, my view on firefighters totally changed...I was very inspired and moved. I love this movie! ...not to mention how much I love Joaquin Phoenix...
