If you're in Miami, don't miss this...

NORTH MIAMI HIGH GRADUATE TO PRESENT BOOKS TO LIBRARIES, HISTORICAL SOCIETY
On Friday, October 15, 2004, North Miami High graduate, Charles E. (Chuck) Corway (Class of 1983), will present copies of a book he has written to members of the North Miami High library, North Miami public library, and Greater North Miami Historical Society.
The event will be held at 9:00 am in the school's Media Center at 800 NE 137 Street.
Corway's book details his years at North Miami High in the early 1980s and will be of particular interest to those who lived in North Miami at that time. Members of the city of North Miami, North Miami High faculty, and the Historical Society will be present.
Corway now lives in Texas and can be reached via email at [classified]. For more information on the Greater North Miami Historical Society, visit www.northmiamihistory.com.
Thanks,
Scott Galvin, President
Greater North Miami Historical Society

P.S. A little plug for the book I wrote last year, finally I'm going to present copies to the school and city libraries, as well as to the city historical society.

I'd go with Mario the Baker or Sara's Kosher Pizzeria, but if I remember correctly both restaurants are no longer in North Miami...
Cozzoli's Pizza will do in a pinch...

Congratulations, that's great. As someone who eventually would like to write a book, I definitely envy the efforts of you, Sensuret, and the other authors on this site.
Again, congratulations.

Mario the Baker is still in North Miami, I know cause my dad works there....they recently had a fire and are closed for renovations...but they are in the process of rebuilding. they plan on being open again for the holidays.
They have two other locations as well, one in south miami off bird road and the other in broward..not sure of the exact location.
BUT nothing beats the home store and that is in North Miami.
My dad has been with them for YEARS...and it a very close family like atmosphere... the quicker they open the better...their garlic rolls are soooo yummy!!!
