Inter-Fraternity fighting & Brawling

I've never encountered this before. The fraternities at Fullerton engage in fights almost every weekend. SAE vs. Sig Pi with the brawl spreading to the street. The police, when they do arrive, just round up the usual suspects which is any male on Teri place past puberty! Has anyone else had problems with Inter-Fraternity fighting?

UF has had problem with this before. Mostly the fights are between neighbors. Thankfully most of the fighting has stopped. Now our only problem is theft and vandalism. The Fiji chapter here just got kicked off for causing thousands of dollars of damage to the Sigma Chi house.

IntRA-fraternity fighting is another phenomenon. I've seen guys from my chapter really go at it in the grass and muck out back. I definitely think it was hormonal based, and blood was drawn. The winner extends a hand to the loser, no hard feelings.

Maybe it's more of a good thing than we realize. These guys were mostly ROTC at the time and some were later sent to Iraq, so it was good training.

I also feel that guys who are used to fighting are less afraid of it, and less likely to use a weapon out there in real life. But that's just my opinion.

We're talking knives.

There was an altercation ten days ago and somebody got stabbed.

Over the weekend, the ousted SAEs got into with Sigma Pi and then attempted to provoke a fight with our guys in the alley. Charges are pending against four former SAEs. And they WILL do jail time. Bail was set at something like $25,000 apiece. Two are still sitting in he slam (as of 1:00 PM Tuesday).

Two serious fights in eight days.

You want to be the High Pi here? You're subject to arrest because you "should have done something".

This isn't funny.

We had the same problem at PSU, Ks. SigEps and us always going at it.

It got so bad that The College was going to kick both off of campus.

Now, it is the SX and PKA destroying property.

Real great name for the Greek World isnt it?
