Smile UBC - University of British Columbia Recruitment

FR ended yesterday (Sept. 19th) at UBC, following our first ever combined Pref/Bid Day & the recent completion of our new Panhel complex (chapter rooms and some housing).

As Sistermadly posted in the Recruitment Results thread, quota was 15, with 3 chapters making quota through matching. UBC currently has 8 NPC chapters with Theta's recolonization last year.

Here are the numbers following matching -

Alpha Gamma Delta - 15
Kappa Kappa Gamma - 15
Gamma Phi Beta - 15

Alpha Delta Pi - 14
Kappa Alpha Theta - 14 (1st year of FR!!)
Delta Gamma - 13
Alpha Phi - 11
Delta Phi Epsilon - 8

Total is set at 50, and a number of chapters are presently below that number. Snap-bidding will take place beginning today, and some chapters will likely hold COB/COR events beginning shortly as well.

As an UBC AGD alumna, I want to pass along my sincere congratulations to all UBC sorority women - actives and alumni, for all your hard work during Formal Recruitment 2004 & extend best wishes to all chapters & their wonderful new members!!

Jennifer,
AGD - Delta Zeta chapter '97

Woo-hoo! :)

Out of curiosity, who is at total at UBC?

It's really awesome that Theta got so close to quota being a very new group on that campus. All those groups are so lucky to be at UBC...I've saw the Greek village this summer and it looks SO cool!
