AK-47 Inventor creates new vodka

http://www.cnn.com/2004/WORLD/europe...eut/index.html

"I did not create the gun for international conflicts, I created it to protect the borders of my country," he said.

"It is not my fault that it has been spread all over the world. It is its reliability and its simplicity that have taken it all over the world."

Promoters of Kalashnikov vodka, which is 82 proof, say it is "made from grain harvested in Russia and water drawn from Lake Ladoga north of St. Petersburg" and is best drunk with friends.
See the link for the rest of the article.

My question is: is there a vodka that is best drunk with enemies? Because if there is I need some.

Wouldn't be any different than if Smith and Wesson or Colt licensed their name to a bourbon, though here the backlash (gun lobby pushing booze) would be severe.

Props to General-leytenant Kalashnikov -- obviously the Russkie Army retirement system sucks, so he's gotta do what he's gotta do!

I'll bet a "shot" of this stuff has a real "kick" to it. Order a "barrel" for me so I can have some in "stock" for the next time we have a little "piece" of the "action."

Just a few little "authomatic" rifle puns.

I wonder if the NRA approves?

Smirrov if you want to fight them. Or Grey Goose or Absolut Citron if want to be friends.
