The link took me to a Gamma Phi Beta badge auction, but I get angry at ANY GLO badge for sale!

Thanks. The bidding has ended early because it's no longer available for sale. Wonder what happened?

I don't know but I'd like to think the badge was lost and Rebecca Sesler contacted the seller. Wishful thinking I guess but I like that story better than to think someone would actually sell her badge

key on ebay
I am a Keeper. We notified Rebecca and she has a police report of it being stolen. We were able to stop the auction on her key as well as that of a Kappa Alphs Theta pin wich was stolen from her also. I had belonged to a relative and was given to her.
Another save!

Does anyone know Whitney Wardrip? We just saved her key off a Goodwill auction. When we contacted her about it being in an auction she acted really weird.

saved??
How does it work when a Key is saved? Like the key belonging to Rebecca.... you were able to stop the sale... but were you able to get the key back???
This might be a really dumb question... but I guess I don't really know how Keepers of the Key works.

curlygirly,
It all depends upon the situation with that particular pin. PM me if you want to discuss further!

Hi ladies, sorry to crash, but I found this one today:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...922907442&rd=1
I guess it came from an estate sale or something, and it's being sold low enough that a current sister could get it if she didn't already have a jeweled Key.
PS-I am so jealous of y'all's Keepers of the Keys! I wish we had something like that to make sure our Quills didn't get out of sisters' hands.

Key on ebay
bekibug,
Contact some of your alums and get one going. We have one, KAT has KATKites, GPB has Crescent Catchers. Those are the ones I know of. You might get you sorority magazine to print a little article about quills on ebay and antique shops, flea markets. Mention the other groups that have organized to get the pins off ebay. The gals that started ours would probabply be glad to fill you all in on all the details. There are a bunch of collectors out there and others who buy to melt the gold!
Thanks for the info.
