Night Life Favorites

So I went out this Labor Day weekend to hit a few of my old favorite Night Life Hot Spots in the Big D. Although there are some really cool scenes there nothing beats the nightlife in NYC. When I used to live in New England I would travel down to the city as often as possible to go out and hit places like the China Club, Palladium, Lime Light, and a few others. I've turned into a workaholic nowadays with a minute social life if any. Things happen when you go alum but this past weekend I had more fun than I've had since undergrad.

What are your favorite Night Life Hot Spots and where?

Hot Spots in Richmond (some of these are still underwater )

Liquid
Tikki Bob's
Shae's (not spelled like that but its Irish)
Those are my three favorites.
But the whole city just got flooded twice in less than month. These places might not open back up.

Mine are bars...I'm not so much into the club thing.

The Rack/The Place (whichever has the shorter line on a given night)
Anam Cara
T's Pub

I like other places based on certain drinks (Sunset for beer, Cactus Club for margaritas), but the ones above are my favorites to get together with people.

During this time of year, I'm into sports bars and just plain bars. The best entertainment district in OKC is about a mile from where I live -- it's called Bricktown. Some of my favorites are:

Daquari Zone -- Sports bar, you have plasma TV's at every table -- you can even control the channel.

Bricktown Brewery -- they make their own beer, so that's a good thing in my book. They also have pretty decent bands most of the time.

TapWerks -- Can't go wrong with 100+ beers on tap and even more in bottles. Food ain't bad either.

Biting Sow -- Great blues bar on the river walk.

Coaches -- decent sports bar, free bingo with free $.

-- there are plenty of other good places around there. There are always new things going on in Bricktown. I can get there from my apartment via trolley, so parking is never an issue (public trans is hard to come by down here).
