sister in Iraq

hey girls!

I just sent an email out a few days ago to this effect, on the listserve Pam runs. The response was amazing and I was really encouraged to keep at it -- I knew our sisterhood was strong but it's really something to SEE it in action!

One of our sisters, Meredith, just made it to Iraq. She was called up a few months ago (she's Army Reserves) but just arrived the day before Valentine's Day. She's having a really rough time. She's my age (22) and was a semester away from finishing school, and it sounds like being over there is really scary, strange, and lonely at times.

If ANYONE at ALL would be willing to send her a note, a card, a care package, or adopt her as a chapter, that would be WONDERFUL. I know it would mean so much to her. I can't imagine what it's like to be over there now, at our age -- I mean, I'm having enough trouble keeping my stuff together HERE, and I'm not in a foreign country OR getting shot at!

Please please PM me if you can "adopt" Meredith. I'm trying to get as many sisters as possible to send love, 'cause I figure she can use it.
