Chapter needs Spirit!

I just reaffiliated and am having trouble adjusting, have any of you been in a similar situation?

Okay, lilcatwings (I just love that name!), have you been able to become close to one or two of the sisters yet? If so, discuss some of the fun things you did in your old chapter, and how important living the Creed was to you (as a chapter) and you (as a person)! Work on what you say first, but make it sound so cool that your new sister-friends are really excited about it - without it sounding as if you're pushing something down their throats.

Enthusiasm is contagious! If you have to take the time to watch Legally Blonde to pep yourselves up, do it! Just show your own enthusiasm for all that Alpha Delta Pi stands for, and you'll have an epidemic on your hands.

It sounds simplistic, but it's just the beginning... of a whole new Chapter attitude that YOU created!

I am trying to get to know the girls better, we have recruitment practices every night I guess it's just the differences between chapters.

Oh sweetie your not "no fun". You just are concerned about recruitment, which I'm surprised the girls aren't more concerned too. Without a good recruitment they could be in the same "boat" as some of our struggling chapters (and lets face it, without "naming names" we have struggling chapters there is no reason to hide that fact).

Have you thought about going to the recruitment advisor and talking to her. Or is there another adivisor you can go too? What about the FR chair, you could offer to help her out. I'm sure she is extraordinarily stressed out.
