Paris Pledges Sorority Pic
For someone who thought Wal-Mart sold "wall stuff," Paris Hilton seems to have accomplished much of what Mariah Carey hopes to do, namely master the many forms of media. Not only will the "Simple Life" star soon publish a book (her bio, "Confessions of an Heiress: A Tongue-in-Chic Peek Behind the Pose," hits shelves on September 7) and release a single (the subtly titled "Screwed," which arrives this summer), but she's landed her very first starring role on the big screen. As you might have guessed, it's not exactly a part that will challenge Meryl Streep's performance in "Sophie's Choice." According to the New York Post, Paris will bring her thespian talents to the latest National Lampoon campus comedy.
In the flick, the attention-craving hotel heiress, who recently suffered through a small role in the horror movie "House of Wax" ("I hurt my knee -- it was bleeding," she told Entertainment Tonight. "But it looks good, so it's worth it."), will play the head of a snobby sorority whose motto is "be perfect." The movie is billed as a mix of "Animal House," "Revenge of the Nerds," and "American Pie," which we're hoping means Paris' likely bitchy and almost certainly scantily clad character will get her comeuppance by a pastry-loving, toga-wearing genius.
