Just curious

Most of y'all write it "AOII." Why not "AOPi," in the same way that they write "ADPi"?

The "official" shorthand is supposed to be AOII, not AOPi.
Sorry I can't offer a better explanation, that's just what it is!

I remember learning also, that we do not "mix" Greek letters and the regular Alphabet, like AOPi. Also instead of AOTT (two T's to make the Pi) we use two II's because it looks nicer. Anyway, that is what I was told when I was a new member back in 1996.

Katherine, AOII Chapter Adviser, Ole Miss

PS: We also spell Adviser with an "e" and not an "o".

Katherine-
You are absolutely correct on this one. It's either AOP or AOII so as not to mix Greek and Roman letters.

Hi Sarah,
Cool beans, I'm glad I remembered that! I am very ticky about AOII's who write AOTT! Gosh that drives me wild!
Roses,
Katherine
