the people in my neighborhood are blowing up stuff
or at least that's what it sounds like......it's probably just fireworks or shotguns (ok probably not shotguns) but it's so freakin annoying.....i keep jumping because it'll be quiet and then BOOM! BOOM!

they do this weekly......they go down to SC and buy fireworks and then set them off at weird times
what i dont understand is how they haven't been caught yet. there's a police officer that lives in our neighborhood.
the reason i havent called the cops yet is because i can't distinguish where exactly it's coming from. my neighborhood backs up to another one and i don't know if it's coming specifically from mine or from people that live behind me

Maybe it's coming from the police officer's home. I hang out with some cops and they are the first to be engaging in behavior like this. I went to a 4th of July party and several of the cops went to PA and bought over $300 worth of fireworks each. But this was for a holiday so that is a little bit different then this going on on a regular basis. Also, many people are nervous about getting involved in a situation that could cause problems with them and their neighbors so they often don't say anything.

UGH. The week of the 4th, these dumbfuck kids kept setting them off. It's great when you have to wake up early in the morning for work! And these weren't just your normal bottle rockets. The boom was so loud that it shook my house and I ran outside cuz I thought someone's house exploded. It went on all nite.
Cops I don't think they really care. The luitenant (spelling?) of my city live across the street and his wife was our past mayor. Did he do anything? NO.

Not True... Class C fireworks are now legal. Meaning you can set of things like fountains, those little tanks, whistlers, and other class C fireworks. Granted, that doesn't sound like what is happening there, but just as an FYI. You should go outside and watch them, don't be a party pooper...

They do that over here every year from like, June 10ish until the end of July. The hard thing is that fireworks are legal in DC (5 minutes away) but not legal in Maryland. They been geeting on my nerves for a while now
