Jail

I have seen some mentions about JAIL fundraising, how does it work and what is the rules......I am worried about this cuz it may be considered a raffle...you see, we are thinking about having a jail for ASL professors (since we are a deaf/hearing sorority) and people pay like a buck to vote for them to be in jail and they will get pizza party (the class with the most votes) but I am worried it may fall under raffle.......please any advice will be appreciated!!

It's not a raffle. Basically you "arrest" someone like a popular professor or student and people donate money to get him out. Of course there is a set time that they stay in "jail" - you don't hold them till you get a certain amount, you are just trying to raise as much as you can.

a few years ago, we over at my chapter went to a sperm bank and donated each.

at 50 bucks a pop...65 guys...that is 3250 bux right there baby.

and we have a bunch of legacies running around.

If I was a guy and could get past the thought of my progeny running around somewhere.... you can seriously get decent money for something you're going to do anyway! It's like paying a college guy to drink a beer, you know ? hehehe
