No words come to my mind, but images of white, brown, black, and asian people standing in a circle holding hands appear in my head. I'm serious, lol.

The ideas that come to mind (I know you asked for words, but....)

I feel like multiculturalism has been abused on college campuses to water down the political effectiveness of underserved cultural groups. It is also an easy way for administrators to lump together students and programming and assume that an Asian female from Boston has the same needs as a Black male from Tupelo, Mississippi, or a South Asian from Berkeley, or a Native American.

But that's just me.

Multi-Cultural has come to mean (in my opinion) "Anything not white". I disagree, but that's what it seems to be at least in the US where the world of academia is concerned.
