What did you like/dislike about Rush?

I knew that I was going to join a particular fraternity before going to rush events so I have very little remembrance of the ones I attended. Now I am rush chair for my fraternity and I was just wondering what you liked or found effective at the Rush events you attended as PNMs and also what you disliked about the events you attended.

I enjoyed being able to show off our house and sharing the great things about our GLO. I did not like the fact that the rushees were so intimifated and nervous.

my experiences have to do with sorority rush,
but anyways...I LOVE formal recruitment (the songs, skits, energy, etc) I am also very outgoing and was a key rusher....BUT sometimes it would get really tiring have the same conversations and questions over and over again (and even if you really like the girls you start to feel drained so you hope it didnt show). And this coming from a very small greek system, I can't imagine how exhausting rush must be at bigger schools (although probably very fun and exciting)
