Oh, I agree! I just love all those cooking shows. It's funny, because I can't cook for anything and don't really like to, either.

Don't feel bad... I trained as a cook - ahem... Food Service Specialist - in the Air Force and quickly hung up my chef's hat and whites soon after I got out. I'll cook for family and a small group of friends but I may reconsider if - or when - I get appointed one of the Stewards in the Masonic lodge. (The Stewards are responsible for preparing the meal that's served prior to the meetings.)
Sh*t-on-a-shingle, anyone? (The most common name given to creamed beef on toast in the military.)

I like Molto Mario and watch that show whenever possible. However, I would like to see him do more shows on desserts and devote at least one episode to vegetarian cooking.

I like that one kinda old lady that cooks Southern food. It usually looks realllly good, but I think if you eat too much of it, you'd have to like 3 heart by-passes after awhile.
And I like that other lady that makes the desserts. mmm...

I am a confessed and proud Food Network Junkie. I love all the shows, except that low carb man, because I think its a crock. But on eof my favorites is Iron Chef, that is just to funny.
My daughter LOVES Emeril. He came on one day and she was like AWWWW SHUCKS, THAT'S MY BOY!!! I about DIED! LOL

I too have wondered how to get in one of the three chairs on Mario...if anyone finds out, post it here...I just hope that he doesn't do calamari if I ever go.
I also like the Everyday Italian show, good ideas except last week she used Best Foods/Hellmans mayo as a base for aioli...ewww....make your own, woman, it's a cooking show. I also like Chocolate with Jacques Torres just to see what stuff he's going to make.
