Internal Interview wear

Tomorrow I have an internal interview for a position I want within my company. The problem is that tomorrow is "red, white, and blue jeans day" in honor of July 4. I am caught between wearing jeans and looking as though I don't take the interview seriously, and dressing up and looking as though I am too stodgy to participate in a theme day. Opinions?

How about a suit incorporating a red, white, and blue color scheme? For instance, white blouse, red blazer, blue skirt. You could wear this outfit all day, or bring a pair of blue jeans to change into after your interview. That way, you're in keeping with the July 4 theme, while still looking professional for your interview.

Good luck!

Wear a navy suit with a white shirt and maybe a red bag...whatever but nothing too theme heavy. In fact you could probably wear a flag pin too.

Well, I don't think I will wear a suit, that is way too much for my company, but I will stick with business casual, I think, and change after.
