is life treating you okay?
i know alot of times i get very frustrated and upset over silly things. i need to focus of the good stuff in my life.
i am thankful to have good health. i have never had to go to the hospital for some emergency- (for me anyway)
i am so happy that my dad is still alive. several years ago i almost lost him in a horrible auto accident that had terrible results on the family.
my dad is so great. two months after he got out of the hospital (he was there for 1 month), he bought me my first car (brand new). he was barely back on his feet. but he wanted to do it for me.
i am thankful for my parents, even though they make me very angry at times. they are divorced, but have a really good relationship. they have a business together.
my sister is great too (that is all i have to say about her)
haha. i do love her.
i am forever greatful to God, for helping me bounce back tremendously from a disasterous college academic year. i was ready to quit. now i am doing better than ever.
i am so happy for the guy that God brought in my life. the last two years have been a rocky road, but i love him incredibly. 1 month ago, i almost lost him to...(well i dont want to say), but he almost died. he would have if i wasnt at his house with him. since then, the love between has grown even stronger. people think i am insane for still being with him, but they just dont understand.
i am incredibly happy about the future ahead. great things will be happening this year.
i get angry too much over things i have no control over. i cant let that take over my life. i have to understand that i am blessed and that i should be a little more thankful.
so everyone should post why that are thankful to still be alive.

smiley,
girl, you always put a smile on my face! I've been worried lately about a bunch of random stuff, and after reading this, it brought me back to reality and reminded me that even though I have some troubles, there is still SO MUCH for me to be thankful for.
Thank you!

smiley, more than anyone else you deserve that name.
i'm thankful that i have friends who care about me for me, and don't look at me differently because I have a family that's about as far from "normal" as it can be.
i'm thankful for both of my little brothers who just make me laugh whenever i'm home.
i'm thankful that my father says he trusts me and he's never had to worry about me.
i'm thankful that my migraines are no longer occuring every day
i'm thankful to be alive

Within the last week or two I haven't felt so happy in TWO years...about time.
Actually it's been more than a few weeks, two months more likely, but I just came to the realization more recently.
Yep I'm happy to be alive too, and definately for some family members.

Funny this thread comes up today...
I just got in an accident...I was turning and got hit from someone in the lane next to me...everyone is ok though, no injuries to anything but the cars involved...
(BTW Tom - the cop that gave me the ticket is a Pitt State Alum. First thing he does when he sees my Kansas ID in Omaha is ask if i'm a student, then asks if at Washburn (because of the Topeka address) - luckily though, the worst he did was complain that I was going to W.U. instead of throwing some more tickets on me (I only got one for an improper turn). He was a GDI also...I asked if he was in a house while at school, hoping for a sec a brother might let me off...no such luck.)
This really stinks...I know where my next few paychecks are gonna be going!
Mondays now OFFICIALLY suck.
HOWEVER THOUGH...
Noone was hurt. Thank god for that.
I am still here, with no damage to my body...only my wallet.
Nothing has changed...I have another car I can temporarily use...
This is minor. While I feel bad about it now, I know everything will be alright in the long run

Simply put, my life is amazing, I have so so so much to be thankful for.
I have the most amazing friends, an AWESOME family, and a life that I am blessed to call my own.
I am a little bored, but hah, other than that, life is great!

Smiley,
I'd be a lot better if you could help the people of Jacksonville learn to drive a little better - JUST KIDDING!
I know that I sometimes get bogged down with the day-to-day routine of my life. I forget to stop, look around and realize how blessed I am.
Thank you for reminding all of us how fortunate we all are.

yay!
i'm thankful for my friends.....that is one area of my life in which i have totally 100% been blessed......i have the best friends and it's a good thing for all the drama i bring upon myself on a daily basis! my friends always have my back, they always listen, and they know i would do anything for them, too!
alpha gamma delta....without this group of ladies, i woulda lost my sanity a long time ago, not to mention i would be SO BORED! blessed with an awesome group to be assosciated with and i am so proud to sport my letters any chance i get!
yay for my family....they grate my nerves a lot, but i am glad that my parents are celebrating their 27th anniversary in july, still hold hands, still help me out (sometimes i'm glad for this anyway), and i love that my sister is one of my dearest, and best friends. i love her and miss her and need her to come home from freakin germany!
my dogs....they are outta control, but precious.
my job....omg, i love my job. it's the most fun i have had while working, quite honestly, and i dig my mngrs and everyone i work with. so yeah, minor drama here and there, but drama is also something i am thankful for b/c it keeps things interesting.
oh i needed to do that....been way to stressed about things and forgetting the basics. thanks, smiley!!!

excuse my negativity here:
sometimes i want to shoot the drivers in jacksonville. i was driving earlier today and crossed over the intersection at beach blvd and st. johns bluff rd (BUSY and DANGEROUS spot). there was three cars about 5 sec. apart swerving in and out of lanes cutting people off. i am like 'wtf?!' i think most of the drivers here are on something, cause the traffic is ridiculous. i know what it is. things are getting loose over at the dmv. they must hand licenses over to anyone who can prove that they are over 16 and can at least can turn on a car and pull out of a parking space. and dont get me started on the construction
okay i putting my halo back on. no more negativity. this is a happy thread

Ok, slight hijack...
I almost saw a guy actually shoot someone at that intersection last week. I'm serious! The guy got out of his car with a gun and started pointing it at the car behind him because they flipped him off. You never know who is driving next to you anymore...
BUT! This is a happy thread

My life is so good and I have tons to be thankful for
My husband is the most wonderful man in every way, and he takes such great care of his family.
My beautiful, wonderful, sweet daughters who are the lights of my life.
I am happy that my mom and dad are in good health and that they are such fantastic grandparents
I'm so proud of my sister. She's the smartest person I've ever known, bar none. And she is devoting her life to healing people. She's awesome.
I love the sisters in my alumnae chapter and I am really happy that I found them!
I'm so happy that my in-laws live 4 hours away from me
I'm happy that it was a pretty day today and it's going to be a pretty day tomorrow
