seasonale

So I have been seeing the ads everywhere for the new birth control where you only are supposed to get your monthly visitor 4x per year? Has anyone actually tried this and does it work? I am happy with my current pill now but just curious I don't know anyone who is willing to try this method yet. I don't want to be the first GC guinea pig either.

I haven't tried it but my friend has. Her Dr put her on it when they realized that her migranes only occured when she was about to have her montly visitor. This was a good way to limit that. She seems pretty happy with it but she was very hesitant at first.

yeah i can imagine. i heard that one of the side effects is break thru bleeding too so who really wants to deal with that? i remember once when i tried to manipulate my bc to skip my friend. that was the worst mistake i made. i was feeling dizzy and nauseous and some other stuff too. i advise everyone to take their bc as prescribed.

Periods.

My doctor says she's concerned about the way Seasonale can manipulate hormones and since I'm a cancer risk she wouldn't put me on it.
